Help Fund Our Legal Battle

Contributions to SHO are placed into a general fund that is used for purposes that benefit the shoreline communities along Lake Sammamish, Pine Lake, and Beaver Lake.  SHO is very conservative in how it spends your money.  To date, SHO funds have been used to cover costs associated with disseminating information to those communities and for legal communications and litigation associated with the Shoreline Master Program and the East Lake Sammamish Trail.

Our current litigation against King County is funded by individual property owners and the SHO general fund.

SHO is a 501(c)(4) not-for-profit organization under IRS rules.  However, SHO does not qualify as a charity and your SHO contributions are not tax deductible.

The SHO Treasurer keeps accurate records of all contributions as to the amount, the donor, and issues a receipt.  Contribution details are kept confidential.  Monies not spent will be refunded to contributors proportionally.
